About Simi Valley Times

Simi Valley sits between mountain ridges, with neighborhoods spreading across a broad basin and trails climbing into the Santa Susana Mountains. Oaks and chaparral frame familiar views; dry summers give way to the green that follows winter rain. We started Simi Valley Times because those surroundings shape how people spend their days, from a walk on the trails to a drive across town, and we wanted our reporting to begin there.
